Over the last few months, our qualitative data analysis (QDA) application, LiGRE, has been considerably updated, including numerous modifications, from its appearance to the addition of cutting-edge functionalities.
The purpose of this new version was to improve user experience. The application was thus revamped to make it more user-friendly and accessible. It therefore underwent a complete makeover. That said, beyond appearances, new functionalities were added, namely automatic coding, a tool that allows users to simultaneously analyze and code large amounts of data. LiGRE thus now offers its users two automated tools: automatic transcription and automatic coding, and many more functionalities.

The BIBLIO CQLM public library network chose Logiciels Ex-L-Tec to develop an application for the management of its library network. The project includes various management, report production and statistics modules and is deployed on a cloud computing platform.

Logiciels Ex-L-Tec is proud to announce that LiGRE, the new qualitative, quantitative and mixed data analysis web application, will be launched on June 5th.
This new app, aimed at students, teachers, and researchers, allows the users to transcribe audio and video interviews, codify texts, and create and distribute surveys. The application does not only combine the data, but it integrates and weights them as well, whether the data collection is qualitative or quantitative. LiGRE features a leading-edge system allowing it to automatically weight the qualitative data and integrate them on a statistically based quantitative data sample. LiGRE also includes a lot of free features.

The UQTR has selected Logiciels Ex-L-Tec to develop a computerized management application designed for building surveys and collecting results on a Web platform. This application will be designed for the RISQ (Recherche et intervention sur les substances psychoactives – Québec). The application will act as an evaluation and intervention tool in the psychoactive substances and addiction research program.

Here’s great news for our company: One of our software, Gesfim, will be implemented in Western Africa! Logiciels Ex-L-Tec Inc. has reached an agreement with CRC Sogema to implement the Gesfim software in Mali. Gesfim will be used in the teachers’ continuing training management. The officials and managers from the National Education Ministry’s continuing training will be managed with Gesfim as well. The project will soon be launched with funding from the Canadian Cooperation.

FABEX is a system developed by Logiciels Ex-L-Tec and used by the national society Électricité D'Haïti (EDH) for the billing of electrical services since January 2009 in Port-au-Prince.
EDH and Ex-L-Tec has agreed on a technological update plan that includes the renewal of servor equipments, the software updates and the training of the FABEX 2.0 management and operational staff. The project is underway.

Université du Québec à Rimouski selects GESFIM for its internship management at the Departmental Unit of Educational Sciences.
The installation will take place over the next few months so that the automn 2015 internships will be covered by GESFIM.

It is the most important feature of the new 5.4 Appx software version. It allows to connect to an Appx application server through a Web browser (Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, etc.).
This will allow the users of our applications and softwares using the Appx technology to connect and access with a personal computer, a tablet and a smartphone. Don't hesitate to contact us for more information or to plan the Appx servor software update.

The National Research Council Canada, with its Inductrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP), concedes a financial contribution to Logiciels Ex-L-Tec for the development of the QUALIQUAN project. This participation is a significant contribution for the realization of the QUALIQUAN project's first phasis, which will mobilize 5 full-time developers until July 2015.
Under the direction of Project manager Pierre Blais, doctoral student in anthropolgy at University of Montreal, the development team is already working on the project. The expected result is a scientific data processing software aimed at the university and research community.

Logiciels Ex-L-Tec was assigned, with this contract, to develop the new member management application and to perform the migration of the FPPU data.
The new Web application will be developed with the version 4.2 of Oracle Application Express technology, Apex. Logiciels Ex-L-Tec will use all its competence to provide the FPPU with an avant-gardist system.
